I really wish you all knew how grateful I feel and for the support you always gave us.

I’m sitting on our dining room floor right now where our big laser lived and it just feels so strange to not be doing this anymore. Most who know me know that I tend to become overly enthusiastic about my hobbies and interests and puttering around with my own small business was no different. It’s something I stopped doing months ago but it’s just hard to realize that it’s over now.

Years ago I had this terrible boss and I ended up quitting my job to do this full time. It was this epic feeling of taking control of my life and making sure everyone knew, “nobody puts baby in the corner!” You all showed up for us and bought our flags and ornaments. It was awesome and one of the most euphoric times of our lives. It’s probably silly to some to read a statement like that but anyone who has gone off on their own just gets that feeling you get when you are hustling. It’s unparalleled! I love that I got to feel that I hope and pray that I’ll never lose that feeling with whatever venture I do in life. I love the strange and obviously risky choice we made to do this in the first place. It’s not uncommon for me to think about that and to just start smiling while I shake my head. We were pretty crazy!

I wish I had all the words and that wish is not something that’s going to be possible tonight. I just wanted to say thank you…for all of it. I’m going to miss this, very much.
