Continuing on with my entryway project! I’ve been working on refinishing my stairs for a couple of days. Here’s a tip: Don’t trust painters tape when painting risers! No matter how much you tape and how careful you are the paint will bleed and leave you with a frustrating mess. 😡 After researching, scraping, and experimenting with caulk I’m thrilled with the results! 😊 All that’s left is to shine up and seal the treads with some polyurethane! Final results coming soon!

Ever have a design day that just doesn’t go your way? Well, that was my Friday - I just hated everything I did. So after taking the weekend so get re-inspired (and realizing how annoying mitered corners are) the trim is complete and the top has a nice smooth, rounded edge (perfect for my littles ones’ heads)! Sanding is just so relaxing! 😊Tomorrow we lay out the railing! Stay tuned!!!
