Process... It's always slow but sure... 😅 Original upholstery had no staples, all tacks, lots of hand stitching, moss and cotton for fill-all indicators or a very old chair! I feel very honoured to work with it, its like being part of a family history! 🖤

Most kind and patient clients , that I built this back and seat cushions for. Custom upholstery needs to be super precise, not too long and not too short, and working away from the project and not being able to measure multiple times is difficult, plus having a solid cabinet on one side makes everything harder. So when I brought the upholstered back and seat into their house, the back was just a smidge too big. I planned for it, but it required me taking off staples and cutting down wood, while in clients house. People were super patient and most helpful, the owner of the house actually built the bench and the cabinets and did an AMAZING job and it's his hobby. At the end, it fit like a glove... May be a bit too precise-wink, wink! And like I said to them if anyone has a question " does that happen often" -the answer is ALL THE TIME. Its tough to make something exactly the size without having access to the piece-in our case the bench, if I can I make multiple trips to a clients house I do(dry fitting the templates ), but sometimes it's just not an option. So sometimes work has to be done on the spot. Massive thank you to people who trust me with your upholstery needs. 🖤🖤🖤
