There’s no shortage of candles, soaps, and handmade products out there… so what makes Mid-Life Livin’ Handmade different?

For me, it’s never just been about making products. It’s about creating something that means something.

Every candle, wax melt, soap, salve, and handmade item I create is rooted in the simple things many of us grew up loving — old country stores, front porch talks, clothesline laundry, Grandma’s kitchen, garden herbs, and the comfort of home.

My products are made for women in this season of life — the empty nesters, retirees, caregivers, and the women who’ve spent years taking care of everyone else and are finally learning to care for themselves too.

Mid-Life Livin’ is about slowing down, embracing the memories that shaped us, and finding beauty, purpose, and peace in the season we’re in now.

That’s what makes this business different.

How long has it been since you cleaned your makeup brushes? Take a few minutes and clean them with warm water and a gentle cleanser, such as your facial cleanser or Mary Kay Brush Cleaner. The brush cleaner has been discontinued from the catalog, but I still have a couple of bottles if you need one.

This morning we pray for the woman trying to figure out what her purpose looks like in this season of life — when kids are grown, routines are different, and life feels quieter than it once did. Lord, remind her that her purpose didn’t retire, disappear, or expire. You still have beautiful things for her to do. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

This morning we pray for the woman carrying a burden for the souls of her family and friends — the ones she loves deeply and longs to see know Jesus. Lord, soften hearts, open eyes, and draw them close to You. Give her boldness to speak when You call her to, and peace in knowing You are working even when she cannot see it.
