Come for the vintage finds and styled pieces. Stay for Pick / Flip / Pass, room ideas, hot c***r, and a whole street of local makers and neighbors.

Your home has a pattern.

The chair you gravitate toward. The rug that grounds the room. The art you can’t stop looking at. The table you want people to gather around.

Those choices have a thread. FFDS Design DNA helps you name it.

Which living room pulled you in first: 01 or 02? And which table feels like yours?

Take the assessment, then share your result and tag us.

What will you find inside the FFDS booth?

Vintage pieces with another chapter in them. Styled finds and jazzed-up thrifts. Room-starting ideas. Pick / Flip / Pass. A chance to tell us what would make your own space work better. And yes, hot c***r.

Fall Pop Up on Penn is Saturday, October 17 from 10 AM-4 PM on W. Pennsylvania Avenue in Walkersville.

Bring a friend. Bring a neighbor. Come wander.

What’s your home’s Design DNA?

Not your Pinterest board.
Not the trend you saved and never used.
The real pattern underneath it all.

The colors you always choose.
The pieces you refuse to get rid of.
The rooms that almost work.
The feeling you keep trying to create.

We made the FFDS Design DNA to help you name it.

Take it, share your result, and tag us. I want to see what your house has been trying to tell you.

Where have we been? Apparently everywhere except Instagram. 😅

We’ve been doing the part of business that doesn’t always make it onto the feed: showing up.

FCAR events. FCBIA. Chamber. WBN. Alive at Five. Name tags, handshakes, quick hellos, longer conversations, and plenty of “we should grab coffee.”

For a small business, showing up is non-negotiable. Good work matters, obviously — but so does being part of the community you want to work in. Relationships don’t stay warm because you posted about them. They stay warm because you keep showing up.

So yes, we’ve been a little terrible at keeping Instagram updated.

But we definitely haven’t been absent.

If we’ve crossed paths lately, hi again. 👋 And if we haven’t, odds are we’ll see you out there soon.

Kids’ rooms are funny little time capsules.

This one started as a spare bedroom. Then came the loft-bed-and-dinosaur era — a setup that made space for school, play, and a whole lot of prehistoric enthusiasm.

And then, almost inevitably, he outgrew it.

So the room changed with him: a bigger bed, better everyday function, and a new woodland direction that still feels playful, just in a different way.

That’s the part of design we love most. A room doesn’t have to stay frozen in the version that once worked. It can evolve with the people living in it.

One room. Three chapters. And plenty more still to come.

Sometimes the most meaningful thing in a room isn’t something new. It’s something that was already there.

While working on this basement bar, we kept coming back to the pieces that made the space feel personal — the objects with memory, history, and a little soul.

That’s always the goal for us.

Not just to make a room look finished, but to make it feel like you. To build beauty around meaning. To selectively source, thoughtfully style, and give the right pieces a place to matter.

This space became a layered, collected bar and gathering area with warmth, personality, and a story behind it.

Because the best rooms don’t just look good. They say something.

We uncover the story, then design the next chapter.
