Where did the flames go? 🔥

If you're new to a catalytic Blaze King, you might be surprised by what you see during a low burn.

Once the catalytic combustor is active and the thermostat is set for a lower heat output, there may be very little visible flame — or sometimes none at all.

That doesn't mean your fire has gone out. The combustor can remain active, continuing to burn the gases produced by the wood and generate heat.

It's one of the things that makes a Blaze King different.

A good burn isn't measured by the size of the flames.

The first fire of the season is worth getting ready for. 🔥

Before you light up, take a few minutes to give your stove some attention:

• Check your stove and chimney for any signs of damage or blockage.
• Make sure your chimney has been cleaned and inspected as needed.
• Check the door gasket and make sure the door closes properly.
• Clear away anything that may have accumulated around the stove over summer.
• Have dry, seasoned firewood ready to go.

A little preparation now helps you start the heating season safely and get the most out of your Blaze King.
