Just completed an “old time” Pie Safe. It is 35” wide x 17”deep x 61” tall. It had three shelves. Most of the wood is some really old wood that was salvaged from my home during the renovation we did in 2004.

Something a little different this week.

A few more new items at Mill Swamp Woodworking.
Check out this odd colored wood bowl. It is Chestnut but I dyed it with a transparent wood dye. The tree was blown down during Hurricane Florence in 2018. Below is also another Chestnut bowl in it’s natural color from the same tree. And a bowl from a 80+ year old Pecan tree that was also blown down by Hurricane Florence in my back yard.
Also just added is a rustic serving tray and a Tea Light Candle holder. And a spreader made from Cherry wood from the hills of the Virginia mountains. The spreader works great for butter, mayonnaise or other spreads. The wood goblet is Crepe Myrtle wood and makes a unique wine goblet.

This is a new item at Mill Swamp Woodworking. It is a Charcuterie Board. Charcuterie is a French word referring to meat and cheese. This product can be used to serve a variety of food items or it can be used as a cutting board. You may have other ideas on it’s use. The wood is sycamore with lots of pretty grain patterns. I currently have five in stock and the dimensions run from 18”x 5 3/4” to 21 3/4” x 6 1/2”. The price runs from $16.95 to $18.95.

The wood is Sycamore with very pretty grain patters. I currently have 5 in stock. There are 18” to 21 3/4” long by 5 3/4” to 6 1/2” wide. The prices are $16.95 to $18.95.
