I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. It’s 86 degrees and almost feels that hot in the shade.

I’ve spent part of the afternoon bringing more of our basket collection outside to brush out the dust. I posted several of our other baskets in our collection a few weeks ago.

We’re hoping for rain soon. I’m sure this drought continues where many of you live also.

I will be sharing some of the items we have found locally during the past few years. Right now, I’m sharing photos of some rugs we purchased at a Bethania NC estate sale. These loom hand made rugs were created decades ago by the Leinbach family in the Old Richmond or Pfafftown community in Forsyth County, North Carolina.

Forsyth County NC has a rich and varied history of beautiful hand made items by skilled artisans.
