There are so many features and options with kitchen faucets these days. Most people want the all in one pull down faucet with the sprayer, but the bridge style faucet is so timeliness and pretty. I’m working on a historical renovation and we chose a bridge faucet as it feels appropriate for an older home, almost like it was always there!

Cabinet hardware is one detail you can’t forget about ! How fun are these brass and white k***s with the knurling and backplate? Dining rooms have not gone away but people are making them more livable and slightly less formal than they used to be. This table has a distressed top, the chairs are family friendly and the rug is indoor/outdoor. All the workhorse pieces will hold up with kid life but the grasscloth wallpaper, drapes and lights make it feel dressed up and sophisticated!

Powder rooms are so fun to design because clients usually let me try something a bit bolder (like a black sink here) or fun wallpaper. It’s the bathroom all your guests will see so why not make it special?

I love how the wallpaper is reflecting in the mirror here, almost like a piece of art! Wallpaper is truly like artwork and there is something for everyone! Powder rooms are the perfect place to try wallpaper! Don’t be afraid to add some personality and beauty to your space.

Here’s a coffee station that we incorporated in to this kitchen project. We lined the inside with white oak for an extra special detail! These cabinets are Ben Moore Swiss Coffee (how appropriate). It still feels bright, yet soothing, warm and not white! ;)

WALLPAPER WEDNESDAY: This picture represents two of my favorite things as a designer, wallpaper and lighting! Both can completely transform a space and bring the wow factor! This beautiful paper makes this breakfast nook so unique and the light with the starburst and marble detail is so stunning! I am grateful for clients who are not afraid to be a little bold!
