While an ongoing window project moves forward steadily, I've brought in a pair of ornate church doors. Veneered in oak, they are Very heavy. Found this deterioration on the tongue and groove paneling while I was chasing down a buckling rail veneer.

Looks like someone used construction adhesive to glue down the mouldings. It made a very nice water tight bathtub around the end grain of the panels.

Lapped in some tongue and groove cookies to replace the rot. A few more tweaks and they'll be ready.

Arched storm/screens have finally made it into their permanent home. I am super happy with these and so is the customer!

Fun barn door restoration. This rather ingeniously designed door is constructed of entirely dimensional lumber from the hardware store without a single tenon or peg. And it's beefy.

But being wood that should never see weather, the inevitable happened.

Built back with better wood and back primed everything I could.
