While my wife and I will definitely miss Pho Linh, Dino Pho has taken their place in Warrensburg, MO and are absolutely crushing it. My wife and I had the boa buns, lemongrass beef vermicelli bowl, and brisket pho. All of it was great and we are excited to still have a great Vietnamese restaurant in town to fill our pho cravings as well as the larger menu Dino Pho has to offer!

Shout out to past me who was up late a few months ago, enjoying a few crispy beers, and spending some time in the kitchen. My house is low on groceries, but I remembered I made an Italian soffritto based red sauce and stuck it in the freezer. Thawed and cooked some sausage to put in the sauce and made spaghetti and it was absolutely delicious.

The wife and I went to GOGI tonight for dinner hoping to try the ramen but unfortunately they are sold out for the time being. However, we were still excited to see the new menu. I got the pork katsu which is a new addition to the menu and my wife got the bibimbap which has always been a favorite of ours at Oriental Cuisine. Everything was delicious as I expected it to be. The pork katsu is the best I’ve had in a long time if not the best. So crispy with tender pork and delicious katsu sauce. I look forward to trying the ramen when they having it back in stock and doing a food review video on it!

Homemade enchiladas aren’t always the most beautiful thing coming out of the oven depending on the type of cheese you use on top, but they are so delicious.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with using the canned sauce, but homemade sauce is not difficult or expensive and always worth it.

The list of new local food I must try keeps growing.
The Rolling Pita is always great and I’ve loved guberburgers since I was a child going to The Wheel Inn with my grandpa.
Maybe I start doing food reviews while my cooking videos are on hiatus.

Don’t worry, Warrensburg friends, I will be trying this very soon and letting you all know if it’s as good as it looks. I’ve been waiting so long for good ramen to arrive in the Burg. Y’all can probably tell it’s one of my favorite foods by now.
