Money is always the scary part people worry about when preparing to get married and let’s be honest flowers aren’t cheap.

A common misconception is the value of wedding florals. Many people opted for fake flowers due to cost but don’t realize why flowers are so expensive.

80-90% of florals in the US are imported from other countries so when you receive flowers they have already been cut, shipped, and stored for up to a week. This is why they don’t last as long as you’d like upon receiving them.

Another misconception is how much work goes into wedding florals. Depending on the wedding, a florist will spend thousands in flowers and hours of time in processing, designing, driving, and setting up. If you are ever curious why your florals cost so much as if your florist would break down the numbers.

As a florist I understand and appreciate the beauty of flowers and all the work that goes into the design elements of a wedding but I also relate to my fellow broke college students.

As a way to help those in my age demographic out I am offering a 20% discount on all wedding florals to college students and recent graduates!!

After discussing your wedding the discount will be taken from your total quote. Please have a valid student id picture or proof that you have graduated within the last year! (Those who graduated in 2025 you apply) Master/grad students also qualify for this discount!

Hi everyone!! Time for a reintroduction 👀

My name is Kylee Lynn Terry, owner of Kylee Lynn’s Floral 🩵

I am currently a student - athlete at the University of Central Missouri studying horticulture and marketing while competing on the Women’s Track & Field team as a 400 runner 🏃🏼‍♀️❤️‍🔥🫏

Given that I am a college student that lives out of rental homes I DO NOT KEEP A LIVE INVENTORY OF FLOWERS! This has lead me to take more of the event floral route that allows me to order and plan to purchase florals.

I have received so much support in the beginning of this journey and hope to do so much more in this second year of operation 💗

2026 is my year to branch out heavily into the wedding world and learn about design elements that various weddings use 💒

When you support Kylee Lynn’s Floral you support a kid and her dreams, not a company, not a brand, just a girl figuring her way into the working world, following her aspirations of bring floral designs to all she can 🫶🏼

On a more serious note, I really do appreciate everyone who has been patient in the process of getting this business really moving. I want to thank everyone who has decided to choose me as their florist despite my lack of experience in the industry. Every one of you has helped me grow and learn in vast ways that I could never replicate. I hope to keep growing and branching out in my experiences.

If you are ever skeptical about choosing me as your florist, don’t be. What I may lack in experience will never show due to my desire to learn and give you the best product. If you give me something I have never done, you bet I will try till I get it right.
