The chandelier isn’t even here yet, and I’m already obsessed. ✨🌟✨🌟✨

We’re still waiting on the statement piece that will complete this two-story foyer in Chesterfield, but I couldn’t resist sharing a sneak peek.

And these intaglios? Oh my heart. They’re timeless, collected, and exactly the kind of detail that makes a house feel special.

A huge thank you to Megan for the craftsmanship and attention to detail it took to put these beauties together. And thanks to Will for hanging them with precision -every little detail matters, and it shows.

Now all that’s left is the chandelier… and trust me, it’s worth the wait.

How’s this Tuesday-that-feels-like-Monday treating everybody? I’m wiped out! 😅
But here’s a nice extended before-and-after for your viewing pleasure. At Mason House Design, that’s what we do — we take something that’s okay and make it better, more cohesive, more beautiful, and more you. ✨

I’ve been working on designing this screened-in porch, and we’re finally finishing up the details. I’m hoping to style it fully after Memorial Day weekend, but I wanted to drop off a few styling pieces early so my clients could start enjoying the space this weekend. ☀️🏡✨

This faux plant hack is one of my favorite new ways to make a faux plant look finished and customized without the maintenance of real plants.

This powder room was such a fun update. We painted it in Benjamin Moore’s Mysterious and transformed it into a mini M. Wolf art gallery. My clients’ had already been collecting his artwork, so instead of spreading the pieces throughout the house, we decided to create one high-impact moment by saturating this small space with color, character, and interest. Sometimes the boldest design decisions happen in the smallest rooms.

As always, thank you to Megan, my Design Assistant and Will from Fortis Property.

A little sneak peek of this eclectic living room transformation ✨
Check out this before + after featuring two gorgeous colors from the Benjamin Moore Affinity Line — Benjamin Moore Anjou Pear and Benjamin Moore Sparrow.

I can’t wait to show you the rest of this project. The kitchen, living room, and family room came together so beautifully too. This home is layered, collected, colorful, and full of personality.

You do not always need all new furniture to completely transform a room.

These clients already had some fabulous pieces, so instead of starting from scratch, we reworked what they owned. We brought up a rug from the basement, moved the sideboard from the family room into the living room, and relocated a cart from the entryway into the bar area.

The biggest changes were the wall color and lamp light. We added five lamps throughout the room to make the space feel warm, cozy, and inviting, then leaned into Benjamin Moore’s Anjou Pear 🍐, it’s a gorgeous yellow green from the Affinity line palette that completely transformed the mood of the space.

The end result feels like the perfect mix of boho, glam, and rustic charm.

Sometimes when I say “top down/bottom up woven woods,” people aren’t quite sure what I mean… so here’s a little demo.

One of my favorite window treatments for adding warmth, texture, privacy, and timeless style while still letting beautiful natural light into a space. I use these constantly in my projects for a reason.

05/12/2026

For years, I called them bamboo shades until I learned more about window treatments and discovered they’re know as woven woods. Since then, I’ve used them again and again in my projects because they’re timeless, add incredible texture, and soften a room in such a natural way.

I especially love the top-down or top-down/bottom-up options for both beauty and function. They let in light while still giving privacy, and the woven texture brings warmth and character to a space without feeling heavy.

Personally, I’ve had great experiences ordering through Select Blinds because they’re cordless, customizable, and easy to work into so many different design styles. This year alone, I’ve used woven woods in four different projects and I still can’t get enough of them.

What are your thoughts? Do you love woven woods as much as I do?

I just shared an unboxing of the thoughtful gift sent to me by El Baker and here is the Lafayette Square dining room where we used one of her beautiful prints.

It was the perfect way to add color, texture, warmth, and personality to the space while still honoring the character of this home. Art has such a powerful way of finishing a room and making it feel personal.
