Construction in downtown providence often encounters challenges with historic preservation. Opening a full-service restaurant inside the Providence Public Designers borrowed heavily from the city's industrial and literary heritage to craft The Culinary Hub of Providence.

CHOP, Providence Public Library

CHOP is where raw materials meet refined moments. We preserved the industrial bones—concrete, brick, steel—and layered in warm woods, curated books, sculptural lighting, and vintage textures to create a space that feels grounded, welcoming, and quietly dramatic.

A modern hospitality concept nestled in one of Providence’s most iconic buildings.
