Dear friends of NonnaCuisine.official,

🍕 Neapolitan pizza is a masterpiece of simplicity. Did you know that the true margherita pizza is inspired by the colors of the Italian flag? Red (tomato), white (mozzarella), and green (basil)!

🍝 Italy is the homeland of pasta, with over 350 different pasta types! From long pasta like spaghetti to short pasta like fusilli, there's a pasta for every dish.

🧀 Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese is one of the most famous cheeses in the world. You might be surprised to know that it must age for at least 12 months, but some can age for over 36 months to reach perfection.

🍨 Italian gelato is known for its creaminess. Legend has it that gelato was invented in Florence in the 16th century. Enjoying a cup of artisanal gelato is an unforgettable experience!

🍷 Italy is famous for its wines. Each region has its grape varieties and winemaking traditions. Barolo, Chianti, and Prosecco are just a few options to try.
