The "Peša" special unit was one of the elite units of the Army of Republika Srpska as part of the First Posavina Brigade of the East Bosnian Corps.

The unit was established in March 1993 at the suggestion of the brigade commander, Major Dragiša Sekulić. The unit merged two existing reconnaissance and sabotage platoons of the First Posavina Brigade: "Mićine bebe" and "Peša". Boško Perić "Peša" was appointed as the company commander. Over time, a tank platoon and armored vehicles with anti-aircraft weapons were also attached to the unit.

The company participated in most operations of the East Bosnian Corps. Immediately after its establishment, the “Peša” fighters captured the occupied Serbian village of Lipovac near Brcko. During the summer, the company took part in the peak of the attack on Bosniak forces in Operation Sadejstvo 93 when the Posavina Corridor was expanded. The special unit “Peša” particularly distinguished itself in the deblockade of the Lisača hill in Majevica in November 1994, during which 70 soldiers of the Army of Republika Srpska were rescued from the encirclement. The unit commander, Boško Perić “Peša”, was killed during the attack.
