The living and dining room of a recently completed project in the Chevy Chase area of DC. The previous homeowners had made several great updates but it was stark white. Our goal was to make it feel like the new owners and add warmth. ✔️

We’ve come a long way baby

Take a look at the before and after of a recent condo renovation in the U Street Corridor. The client lacked storage space so opted to cover the window in the kitchen (it may get covered anyway by a new building) to add in full height storage cabinets. Even though we expanded the kitchen and took some space from the living room, the entire place looks bigger. We couldn’t be happier!

In June of this year we began working on creating two spaces for this year’s 7th Annual Whole Home located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina near Asheville. Just after completing installing as we anticipated the big reveal, the entire region was hit by hurricane Helene.
As the residents of the area grapple with the aftermath and courageously rebuild their lives we wanted to share with you the spaces we’ve created in the hopes that it gives some inspiration for the community. I’ve always believed a home should be a place of refuge and I pray the people of western North Carolina find peace and comfort in their homes again.

A huge thank you to the entire team for all their hard work and dedication in making this possible. I would also like to extend my gratitude to all the team members of and .ologyinteriorsdesign for their efforts as well.

HOW IT STARTED VS. HOW ITS GOING
This bathroom is located on the first floor so it’s mostly used as a powder room. As they’re getting older, one of their goals was to make it more accessible just in case either of them needed to use it while recovering. My goal was to make it functional but also a beautiful powder room since this is what guest will see. We couldn’t be happier with the result.

We created walk in shower for easy access featuring wall tile and a custom colored floor throughout. Faucets by and vanity from The star of the show is the Misty Blue Pine pattern wallpaper from

And a spaced wouldn’t be complete without something vintage, so to complete it we added a pair of botanical watercolors.
