Sensorize Your Space

Sensorize Your Space Interior design specializing in ADHD, anxiety + sensory sensitivities. Creating spaces that help you feel calm, clear + connected.

I Believe Your Space Affects Your Emotions. Your space should do more than look beautiful. It should support your emotional well-being. There’s psychology behind how a space feels, flows, and functions, and that affects how you feel every day. You don’t need a diagnosis to want peace. You just need a space that honors how you live, think, and feel. That’s why I design with purpose, tailoring each

environment to fit the way you live, think, and feel. I blend psychology, sensory awareness, color theory, and Feng Shui to create spaces that feel relaxed, organized, and aligned with you. Comfort starts in the home, and the right environment can help you feel more focused, calm, and in control.

You finally get a burst of energy, you tackle the house, you feel good about it.

Two days later it looks exactly the same.

Same pile. Same spot. Same overwhelming feeling that you’re back to square one.

So you try again. Different approach this time. New system. New bins.

You watched three organization videos and you’re ready. A week later, same result.

And the whole time you’re convinced the problem is you.

That other people just have something you don’t. But the pile keeps coming back because it has nowhere else to go. That’s it.

That’s the whole reason.

Comment CLEAR and I’ll send you the 3 surfaces that are draining your brain the most and exactly what to do about each one.

The argument isn’t really about the dishes.

It’s about one person feeling unseen and another feeling like they’re constantly screwing up, no matter what they do.

Both are true.

And both are happening because your home is set up for a different type of brain. Not the one living in your home. No wonder there’s tension.

Change the setup and the argument loses its fuel.

Comment CALM and I’ll show you how.

Everyone tells you to declutter. But decluttering doesn’t work if the space wasn’t designed for your brain in the first place. You’ll just end up right back where you started.

The real fix starts with understanding your ADHD type.

Because how you process your environment determines how your space needs to be set up.

You can’t pick paint colors and buy bins before you understand the bones: the layout, the lighting, the flow. That’s the foundation.

Get that wrong and nothing on top of it will work. I built an entire method around this.

Comment CALM and I’ll send you the details.

The guilt after a bad morning stays with you the whole day.

You replay it in your head: the yelling, the rushing, the look on your kid’s face.

And you tell yourself tomorrow will be different. But tomorrow comes and it’s the same thing.

Because the problem isn’t your patience. It’s that your home is set up in a way that guarantees chaos every single morning.

Comment CALM and I’ll send you what I use with my clients to change that.

I thought I was stupid all throughout school. I was the dreamer. I tried so hard. Could not focus. No one thought it was ADHD. They said I didn’t work hard enough.

Proved them wrong. Now I work tirelessly as an interior designer helping ADHD and neurodivergent individuals set up their homes to better support the way their brain functions, so everyday life feels less overwhelming and more manageable.

I stand by what I say: we are not meant to be sitting in school for so many hours. I remember when I was in school where we already had a rigid curriculum. Now I see my kids and school is even more rigid.

They’re starting to read in pre-k now.

Rockefeller and Ford wanted to create laborers and not thinkers, right?

Well, ADHD brains and neurodivergent individuals are innovative and are slowly changing the world for the better.

They’re entrepreneurs at heart.

So if you have a child who has a hard time in school, know that we’re not all meant to be sitting for hours learning. A neurodivergent brain learns in a different way and they thrive by having structured freedom so they can function at their best.

I would love to start an ADHD-friendly school and help all those kids who could thrive in an environment that sets them up for success…and I would design the space too 😇

If making dinner feels like the most annoying part of your day, it’s not the cooking. It’s everything about your kitchen that’s making it difficult for you to even start the process.

The counter that needs clearing. The things that aren’t where they should be. The ten small decisions your brain has to make just to get a pan on the stove. I mean, anyone would be annoyed and would rather just get takeout instead.

It’s not you. It’s how your kitchen is set up. It’s making it harder for you than it should and adding to your daily overwhelm.

Comment READY and I’ll show you how to change it.

You walk past it every day and feel a little pang of frustration.

You did everything right.

You picked out the furniture.

You matched the colors.

You spent the money.

And nobody uses it. Meanwhile the couch with the stain on it that you’ve been meaning to replace for two years?

That’s where everyone is. Every single night.

Guess what? It’s not about the money.

It’s not about the style. It’s about how a room makes your body feel. And your body already knows the answer, it’s just that nobody taught you to listen to your body this way.

So I am.

Because when you learn about yourself and understand what your body needs, you start to make sense of so many things.

Why you didn’t want to stay at your friend’s house last week. Why you went to that restaurant and lost your appetite when the food came. Why you can work in the office but as soon as you come home you can’t focus.

It’s your space! It affects you so much more than you’ve ever realized.

Share this with someone who keeps buying stuff, trying to make a room work and it just doesn’t no matter what they do.

When was the last time you said “come over” without panicking first? That you frantically need to clean up. Or that you’re utterly embarrassed about your home.

If you can’t remember, it’s time to look at your home differently now. Not as a mess you need to clean up, but as a system that isn’t working for your brain.

It’s enough. Now is the time to make a change. Life is too short to spend in angst and not be around the people you love.

You think you have insomnia, so you go get sleeping pills, a sound machine, and all the sleep aid you can find. But did you know that it’s your bedroom that could actually be the reason you can’t sleep?

When your bedroom has so much visual noise that it’s making you feel so uncomfortable that you don’t even notice the clutter anymore, you know your nervous system has gotten used to running on high. You’re not relaxing in that room. You’re just too exhausted to notice that you’re not.

Before you blame yourself, take a look at your space and work on that first. Once you change that, you’ll see how much more rested you’ll feel.

The fastest way to make a new house feel like home after a divorce? Make sure it feels like you.

It’s so easy to focus entirely on the kids during a transition, but they don’t need the house to look perfect from day one. They need a happy mom. When you set up your space to match your energy and support your own nervous system, the tension drops for everyone.

Comment READY and I’ll send you the framework I use with my clients to build a home that feels like a true fresh start.
