We are excited to have Fiddler Farms Sourdough pickup back here for the fall and winter. Make sure you do not miss a pickup date. Stockup on your favorites and freese them! Orders open the Thursday befor pickup date and the close Tuesday at noon before date.

What exactly is Castile Soap?
Castile soap is an innovative vegetable-based soap. It is hypoallergenic and free of harsh chemicals, perfect for sensitive skin and immune systems. Because Castile Soap is vegetable and oil-based, it is very hydrating on the skin while still being able to defeat the most stubborn dirt and grime.

Castile Soap can be utilized in many different scenarios, from personal hygiene for you and bath soap for your pets; to decontaminating fresh fruits and vegetables. Before we dive into the copious amount of uses that this soap offers, let's get ourselves familiar with the product.

Face, Body and Hair
Castile Soap can be a replacement for your standard shampoo, body wash, shaving cream, makeup remover, and bubble bath. The natural ingredients of Castile Soap will have your skin and hair glowing.

Toothpaste!!
YES, you can use Castile soap as a base for creating toothpaste. Start with 1/2 TBSP of the soap, from there add 2.5 TBSP Coconut Oil, 1/2 TBSP Avocado or Olive Oil, and 1 tsp baking soda. You can also add in your choice of essential oils for flavoring. Whisk until blended and apply to the toothbrush. If you find your mixture is becoming too thick, just add a little distilled water and blend again.

Our market season is winding down but there are still events in October. We have the Long Meadow Farms Harvest Festival on Saturday October 3. Apple picking, pumpking picking, live music, food trucks and vendors. Also Sunday October 11 we will be at Treelicious Apple festival! Come out to pick some apples, listen to music and try some of their local made bake goods!
We also have our 3 remaining West End Farmers markets in Hackettstown. Make sure to stop by at the last market Sunday October 25. Phoenix Rose Creations will be there next to us with all her cute crochet items!
