For those of you who are friends with Dean Lukin on FB, the account is not my husbands. (The real Dean Lukin 😂) Several months ago his account was hacked and transferred to a different person, a hacker. They went through his Business page Siksu’s Knives below, https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057589114431&mibextid=LQQJ4d.

Recently, the hacker has been requesting money for custom knives. This is NOT DEAN asking for money, nor would he go through FB messenger for a knife. He IS making knives again, however, the page asking for orders and money up front is not Deano.

Please be sure you’re talking to Dean, and please never send money for anything you’re not sure of.

Again, 1. Dean doesn’t have Facebook, because his whole profile was taken from him. 2. Siksu’s Knives is compromised and not run by Dean or myself, and 3. Don’t send money to people without a way to ensure the source is legitimate.
Oh, and 4. Make sure you have a long, hard to decipher password and 2 part authentication just in case.

(Fake profile in the comments, it has a pic of the caribou head at Christmas, please report that profile for pretending to be Dean.)

Deano is back in the shop fulfilling a couple orders with birch we harvested from the homestead. It’s been sitting a couple years and is finally ready to be knife handles and fish bonkers!

Welcome to the *NEW* Siksu’s Knives page.

A couple months ago, Dean’s Facebook account was hacked and we lost all his personal FB content, as well as his business page Siksu’s Knives. If you could, please report the other page as fraud so we can try to remedy his personal account. Our phone numbers start with 907, as we are from Alaska, and we will NEVER ask you for payment on a future knife, ulu or outdoor gear. We use PayPal business and your payment is protected.

Deans shop is coming along since the move south, and we will have new knives very shortly! For now, please follow this page, unfollow the other page, and share this page with others who are interested in handmade Nordic knives, ulu’s and other handmade outdoor gear.

For now, Dean’s personal page is still blocked, we have been unable to “prove” that he is who he says he is. 🤦🏻‍♀️ But, he does check this page often, so feel free to message here, or email.
