Today isn’t about opinions.
It’s about remembering.

My family has a long history of service—grandparents, great uncles, uncles, cousins…mine came home, not all their friends did.

It's the names, stories, and sacrifices of those who gave all that have shaped who we are.

Some of those stories live in photos.
Some in old papers, letters, and small pieces we’ve held onto over the years.
And some… we’re still learning how to tell.

Today I’m taking a little time to honor them the best way I know how—
by remembering, preserving, and not letting their stories fade.

If you have someone who served, especially one who gave everything…
say their name. Hold their memory close.

Let’s keep this space one of gratitude and remembrance. ❤️

Spending time making something that can brighten another's day later is always worth those moments taken out of your busy day. Enjoy the craft so that others can enjoy the thought when needed most 💕

Taking the time to say something meaningful isn't as hard as we make it. Sometimes just saying..."I see you, you matter" is enough. 🥰

🌲 International Family Day 🌲

There’s something about being out in the middle of nowhere…
no distractions, no rushing… just time together.

Family doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful.
It’s the laughs around a fire, the stories that get told again and again,
the quiet moments that somehow mean the most.

Today is a reminder that these are the moments worth holding onto.
Not just in our hearts—but in the memories we choose to preserve.

Because one day… these “ordinary” days?
They’re the ones we’ll wish we could go back to.

So take the picture.
Tell the story.
Hold them a little closer.
