My Story
I am Kimberly Rossi. I would like to start off by saying thank you for taking the time to read this. This is a look into the creative world that drives my work ethic & passions. This passion is the driving force behind starting my own business, selling subscription boxes, painting class parties and crafting parties to you and the children in your life. A few fun facts about me:

• My mind is always coming up with new ideas.
• I am a mother of 2 great boys.
• I have known my husband since we were 5 years old. In today’s digital age its important for us to care for our mental wellness. Participating regularly in classic creativity projects like painting & crafting helps us grow and care for ourselves and children. Statistics have shown that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought about an increase in anxiety and depression. On my hardest of days, I found that painting and crafting has helped open a door for me to walk towards a more positive mindset. I would like to provide a safe space for those battling their own thoughts of depression and feelings of anxiety, to have a community they can turn to for support – through painting, crafting, creative writing or just connecting. “Crafting your community one creation at a time.” is our mission here at Kimmy’s Kommunity, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! We will get through this together. I have worked with children and adults crafting since I was a child myself - always creating something. I have worked with individuals with intellectual and physical challenges for over 20 years. The thought of being allowed to teach you and your children makes me more than overjoyed in my life! I look forward to adding to this section as I answer questions that you send in.

Since it inception my art business Kimmy's Kommunity had been about embracing your feelings & expressing them through art. I was lucky enough that a customer & friend of mine referred me to an organization called The UnGroup Society. together we have been able to offer for the past 4 years, at least 2 free 8-week courses a year to at-risk youth & adult mentors.

I am happy to say that now we are able to move into a dedicated building to continue our mission. This means I can now offer students dedicated art classroom to learn in.

If you are able I am hoping you might take a look at our Art Program Registry and consider purchasing an item or making a donation in the form of a gift card.

I truly love teaching & working with individuals that are working to find themselves through art. Anything you can do to help would mean the world & will leave an impact on the community.

Please let me know if you have any questions or if you have extra art supplies laying around that you would like to donate. I can also assist I. Helping you get a letter for your donation if your would like one.

I am looking to see who would be interested in taking an 8-week class that includes all supplies, workbooks and personalized instruction. Class would be held in Waterbury. Day & time to be established based on student interested. Cost would be $225.00
