We regret that there will not be any alpacas at the shop this weekend. After we loaded last night the hitch on our trailer broke. Farmer Gerry’s ingenuity got everyone home safely but the trailer cannot be repaired until next week. We do have lots of butterflies in the garden! Midday is the best time for seeing them and we will be here all weekend, regular hours of 10-5. Hope to see you!

Future dye. It’s been too hot to bring alpacas to the shop but the dyers garden is loving this hot weather! This is dyers coreopsis which will actually dye several colors depending on the treatment used. We are picking the blooms and drying for future use. Cutting the blooms will encourage more production!
