Today’s the day! Support Lake LeBoeuf today during Erie Gives!

Tomorrow is Erie Gives Day! 🌊💙

On Tuesday, August 11, our community will come together for one incredible day of giving—and we hope you'll consider supporting WECAN and the future of Lake LeBoeuf.

Last year, our community donated more than $6,000 toward the Lake LeBoeuf Revitalization Initiative. Since then, we've been doing the important groundwork necessary to turn our vision into a thoughtful, sustainable plan for the future.

We've established a Lake LeBoeuf Steering Committee that brings together WECAN, Waterford Borough, Waterford Township, property owners, recreational users, and local, state, and federal environmental specialists.

Now we're ready for the next big step.

Phase One: Create the Master Plan

Our goal is to hire a qualified professional consultant to develop a comprehensive environmental and recreational master plan for Lake LeBoeuf.

This plan will take us from ideas and possibilities to a professional roadmap for the future—one that can guide improvements, protect this important natural resource, and help us pursue the significant state, federal, and private grants needed to bring individual projects to life.

That's where we need your help.

If Lake LeBoeuf holds special memories for you—or if you simply believe in creating beautiful, healthy, accessible places for our community to gather and enjoy—we hope you'll make a gift tomorrow.

💙 GIVE TOMORROW — AUGUST 11

Donate online anytime from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM:

WECAN Erie Gives Page:
https://www.eriegives.org/organization/waterford-economic-community-action-network-w-e-c-a-n-waterford

Every gift matters, no matter the amount. And through Erie Gives, 100% of your donation comes to WECAN, plus our organization receives a prorated share of the Erie Gives Bonus Bucks pool, helping your gift go even further.

Could You Help Us Make Every Gift Go Even Further?

We are also looking for individuals, families, or businesses who may be interested in becoming a matching donor for our Erie Gives campaign.

If you—or someone you know—would like to match all or a portion of the funds raised for WECAN with an additional donation, we would love to partner with you! Your matching gift can be publicly recognized or made completely anonymously—whatever you prefer.

A matching donor gives our community an extra reason to give and can multiply the impact of Erie Gives Day for Lake LeBoeuf.

Interested? Please reach out to us at [email protected] or contact Darlene Ryan at (814) 823-2116.

Can't make a gift this year? You can still make a difference! Please share this post on all your social media feeds! Invite friends, family, former Waterford residents, outdoor enthusiasts, local businesses, or anyone you think may share our love for Lake LeBoeuf and want to be part of its future to join us in this effort!

Tomorrow, let's show just how much this little lake means to our community.

Reviving Our Lake. Reconnecting Our Community.
