NEWS UPDATE: Please PM me your email address, if you would like to receive Aprils Newsletter! Also, I am working up Spring Classes, please include what type of Class you are interested in, and I will definitely take this into consideration when adding.

(Example: Beginner, learn how to use your sewing machine, and make a pillow case, 3hr. class $35 Note: cost of fabric for pillowcase separate. Materials need to be purchased at Grandma's, we thank you for supporting our small business.

4 hour open project class $35: bring your own project, and machine, we will be there for help and guidance.

Why: 1. You don't understand what your pattern is saying to do.
2. your need to alter your pattern but, your not sure how.
3. You bought 3 pair of pants last year, thinking you would shorten them, but
have never actually done it.
4. Having trouble getting that zipper in.
5. I've read this pattern 10 times, done exactly what it said; but something is
not right and I don't know how to fix it.
6. If I could just have 4 uninterrupted hours of sewing I could finish this
project.
7. If I could just remember how to thread this machine, or wind this bobbin, I
would be fine and. could finish this.
8. Bought a kit or pattern, not sure what to do first, no worries we will help.
9. Beginner Quilter but do not understand the terminology, want to get
started but afraid to cut it wrong.

Supplies to Bring
1. Sewing Machine & manual if you have it, machine accessories that came with it including sewing pedal and cord.
2. Your project and Basic Sewing Kit.
3. We do have supplies and thread for sale in the shop, should you need something that you don't have.

Basic Sewing Kit (Depends on Your Project)
1. Sewing Scissors, Rotary cutter, replacements blades
2. Small scissors or thread nippers
3. Tape Measure
4. 6" metal gauge ruler
5. Straight Pins, and or Fabric clips
6, Hand needles, Machine needles
7. Seam Ripper
8. Thread needed for project
9. Small screwdriver
10. Tweezers
12. Chalk or Disappearing ink pen
13. Bobbins specific to your machine.

Please Note: This class is not intended for a beginner sewer who has never used a sewing machine before. I do give classes for that, and I love teaching it. Please contact me about beginner sewing classes.

Saturday February 4, 2023, 9am-5pm Lunch provided.

Come join us as we learn how to use the Husqvarna Viking Jade 35 Sewing & Embroidery machine. Have a beautiful Jade 35 that you don't know how to use, this is the class for you. This is a beginners class, we will learning the basics, how to thread your machine, how to wind the bobbin, what those buttons are for, tips, and hints galore! And very important but definitely not last, I've oopsed what do I do now? Basic machine care, how to correct common simple problems that crop up for every sewer.
MORNING SESSION: Basic Sewing functions of your machine, buttons, and maintenance.

Lunch Break- 1:00-2:00pm Meal Provided

AFTERNOON SESSION: Beginners Embroidery Class, as we expand on what we learned in the morning session, we will now add on the Embroidery piece of your beautiful Jade 35. Included in this class Embroidery Threads how to use them, needles, stabilizer, hoops, Basic embroidery button function. ( This is NOT a Software Class) contact me I do teach those. Embroidery Fonts & Designs.
