10 years ago today, at age 13, my idea of having one hive as a hobby, has grown into a 48 hive operation that produces great local honey and queens! With the operation spread over four locations and two retail locations, Annie B Acres has proudly become my opportunity for a full time career in the honey bee industry.

Happy National Farmers Day!!!

One of the greatest parts of working in agriculture is, people asking me questions,
like...
How many times do you get stung?
How much honey does a hive make?
And the best one is the the cashier at the grocery store when I buy 300 pounds of sugar,
and they ask "are you making cookies?"

FUN FACT
Honeybees need sugar syrup in the spring and fall when there are no flowers to forge on.

There's always something fun to learn about... And the samples are just a bonus😉
