After I caught the swarm and put them in a box I went later in the day to look at them and they were gone again. They swarmed to another tree. I was able to get that one as well. My guess is the queen was not in the first swarm. I’m hoping I got her this time

First we till the dirt then we dig the ditch then we plant the asparagus then we cover the asparagus. Thanks to my amazing helper and wife. She planted them all while I was running the machinery.

Lots going on this weekend. Caring for the apple trees. Planting lilac bushes. Prepping two 100 yard rows for more asparagus. Moving dirt piles and worm casting piles. Picking asparagus changed the fittings on the skid steer so I can use the tiller on it for the asparagus beds. Tended to 17 bee hives. Still need to do a lot more but after we pick asparagus we will be done for the day.
