Second barn quilt going to its home today! This customer sent me a picture of a barn quilt that hangs at her parents farm. After they passed away the kids sold the farm and left the quilt. She wanted a piece to remind her of her family's farm that she could hang at her own home. We skipped the black outlines but kept the same overall pattern. I hope this 2x2 brings a little piece of home to them! 💓

This barn quilt is going home tomorrow and I might just cry when it leaves. Customer sent me this picture of a quilt square for inspiration and I created this simplified barn quilt with his requested colors. I think this is the most attached I have felt to one so far because it took so much time to create and perfect it. ❤️

Here's a little something I have been working on to help 2 very important people to me. My aunt Carol Waschbisch and uncle Danny Schwemer are starting all over after they lost everything to the wolf river flood. It hurts my heart that I wont be there in person but I am hoping this barn quilt will raise some money to help them rebuild all they have lost.

This 2x2 is going home today in time for brighter days of summer ☀️ 🌻🐝
