It is Friday, which means we will be permanently closing our doors at 5PM Tomorrow, Saturday February 11th. That leaves only two full days for you to visit, browse and shop Jim's Antiques / Lighthouse on Main. There is still a great selection of antiques, primitives, collectibles, comics, trading cards and more, reduced to half price or lower, just waiting for a new home! Come see Mr. Jim and wish him well on his retirement.

After nearly 30 years in business in Watertown, we must now announce that Jim's Antiques / Lighthouse on Main will be closing our doors on January 31. Currently, everything in the shop $5 or higher is half off, excluding the t-shirts and maple products. We've enjoyed serving the community for nearly three decades, but due to the economy and lack of local commerce, we have no choice. We appreciate all of our patrons who have frequented the shop over the years and we hope you will all come and visit us in these last couple of weeks and find that new treasure you never even knew you wanted.

To whomever was brazen enough to steal our inflatable Christmas penguin from beside our front banner yesterday, come see me so I can make sure you never are able to steal again. Those penguins come as a set of two. If you see ANYONE with only one inflatable penguin let us know. We will gladly show up with an officer to help us collect what was stolen. Anyone wishing to steal, especially at Christmas time, needs a switch on the backside and a kick in the teeth. If you know that a penguin brought home was stolen and you're doing nothing about it, shame on you. We have the box, the paperwork, and the receipt. Watertown is filled with some very good people but the thieves around need to be caught and if they are, we will publicly disgrace them. Thank you to whomever stole from us for making Christmas week start off pretty crappy for us.
