This is a small, beginner-friendly workshop is for anyone who has wanted to try giving gifts with beautiful hand-drawn lettering but thinks they have to be an "artist" and "talented".

MONDAY MYSTERY MAKES WORKSHOPS ARE COMING TO GARDEN LADY’S OBSESSION

Some of you have told me you’d love more chances to get out during the day, try something new, and do so on a set income.

So I’m starting something new.
Monday Mystery Makes Workshops
Mondays at 1:00 PM
$35 per person — materials included

Every Monday will be a different creative activity, the project changes each week and may be announced shortly before class.

One week we might press flowers and turn them into art. Another week could be watercolor, a garden sign, bookmaking, wire work, wax seals, calligraphy, bows, floral arranging, seasonal décor, sketching, simple macramé — or something I found in the studio that looked too fun not to try.

The point isn’t to be an artist.

The point is to come in, sit around the table, learn something new, enjoy some company, and leave with something you made yourself.

Projects will be kept approachable, and no previous experience is needed.

Each Monday is booked separately, so come every week, once a month, or whenever a project day fits your life.

$35 | Materials included | Limited seating | Classes run with a minimum of 4 participants. If minimum enrollment isn’t met, your reservation may be moved to another Monday or refunded.

Three seats are officially spoken for in Calligraphy Firsts and 2 more are being considered as we speak! I’m so excited to host this little personal, intimate class with fellow art enthusiasts.

This beginner workshop is for people who have always wanted to try pointed-pen calligraphy but weren’t quite sure where to start. You do not need beautiful handwriting or any previous experience.

Garden Lady’s Obsession is still easy to reach during the East Main Street closure.

If you’re coming from the east side of Watertown, I recommend avoiding East Main Street and coming in this way:

S. Concord Avenue → WESTERN AVE → S. FOURTH ST → Downtown

Follow Fourth Street north into downtown to Garden Lady’s Obsession at 111 N. Fourth Street.

There is 10-hour public parking behind the shop, which is a great option while the road work is going on.

During my open hours, if you come in through the back entrance, just ring the bell and I’ll let you in.

The construction may change how you get downtown for a few days, but the shop is open and accessible.

Starting Monday, September 28, East Main Street will be temporarily closed to through traffic from N. Concord Avenue to the east side of the bridge at E. Water Street & E. Main Street while utility work takes place.

⏰ Approximately 7 AM–5 PM
🌙 The road will reopen overnight.
Completion is weather dependent.

A signed detour will be posted to help you get where you need to go.
