Always a good time at the Renaissance Faire, but even better when we get to visit friends.

Stopped by to see Albion Grove and Gili Lochner , hung out for a bit, and of course left with some cool stuff from their shop. They always have awesome handmade pieces, and as a crafter myself, I really appreciate the time, skill, and effort that goes into making things by hand.

If you’re in Connecticut, definitely go check them out and show them some love.

Not too long ago, I received a gift from my dearest friend Sfinga 🐉 — a prayer rope from their St. Cyprian project of prayer ropes and Horns of the Sorcerer.

I completely love the dedication and work put into these pieces. The prayer rope has become something I work with regularly at my shrine and has found its place among the few personal pieces I keep close in practice, alongside the medallions I’ve made with Ajarn Apichai.

Beautiful work, made with purpose, and deeply appreciated.

THE UNDYING FLAME

Made for the artist who refuses to let the fire die.

Built around guitar picks personally signed by Zakk Wylde, The Undying Flame is a limited series of handmade amulets created for musicians, tattooers, painters, writers and those whose hands are driven to create.

Its purpose:

To awaken inspiration when the well runs dry.
To strengthen confidence in your own work.
To sharpen the creative and spiritual eye.
To encourage perseverance when creation becomes difficult.
To support success in your craft.
To protect the artist while doing the work.

Each amulet carries a spiritual body formulated through divination, followed by eight days of preparation and empowerment here at Manticore’s Den. The materia then traveled to Chiang Mai, where Ajarn Apichai blended it with sacred powders from his own practice, incorporated takruts, completed the construction and carried the pieces through further Thai temple blessings.

Two sorcerers. Two countries. Different traditions working toward one purpose:

Keep the fire burning.

Residents were left confused this morning after newly translated scrolls claimed local tattoo artist Gary Noriyuki is celebrating his 777th birthday this week. According to the documents, he was abducted as an infant from a Krishna monastery by a ninja-trained raccoon during the Great Civil War after his evil father sealed an ancient demon inside the child. The prophecy warned that extraterrestrial invaders would one day descend upon Earth, but the demon would ultimately become humanity’s only hope. Archaeologists have declined to comment after multiple raccoons were observed standing on two legs near the excavation site before disappearing into the woods.
As far as you know, this is simply one of the many talents of tattoo artist Gary Noriyuki, who is currently tattooing and accepting appointments throughout the month of August at Phoenix Ink Tattoo in Southington, Connecticut. Authorities continue to advise the public not to make eye contact with unusually disciplined raccoons until further notice.

Ajarn Apichai Success Candle Ritual – april 25th

This is a candle rite worked in Thailand by Ajarn Apichai, offered through his student Gary Noriyuki, who carries your name into the ritual itself. When you take part, you’re not watching from the outside—you are placed inside the ceremony as it unfolds, counted among those present before the Teachers.

This working is only done at moments that matter—initiations, lineage rites, and the Wai Kru—when the current of the masters is at its peak. It’s for those who walk close to this current, who carry his yants or amulets, or who feel called to stand under that lineage and receive from it directly.

At its core, this is about honoring the Teachers. In return, their current moves toward you—protection, steady growth, clarity of mind, and the strength to move through obstacles without hesitation. It reinforces your own workings, sharpens your focus, and aligns your path so what you aim for begins to land cleaner and faster.

The ritual is performed during the Wai Kru at the temple of Luang Phor Charuay on April 25th. From morning to midday, all participants are treated as present within the ceremony itself.
