Wonderful birthday gift from feretta Feretta that I asked to just surprise me. I couldn't have asked for a better picture. So many of you and Feretta have cheered me on, kept me going, and were patient with me through all the injuries, recoveries, surgeries, and painful improvements in many things. I am back on my feet again and getting stronger daily for the future. Thank you all!

Hey all. Sorry for the long quiet spell. I got my left knee fully replaced back in June and just now able to deal with some things. Will slowly be getting back into art projects but having a lot of fatigue still from physical therapy and meds I am on. In the mean time, two pics to enjoy!

Now I'm trying a bit more complex binding. 4 signatures with two sets of end card stock endpapers. Got them hand sewn together. Just got the spine glued and in a makeshift press to dry over night.

Been slowly trying my hand at book binding and learning the skills for it. Just all practice right now and with very inexpensive materials. Did two small note books that are single signature and handsewn to cardstock cover.
