This weeks Transformation Tuesday is this vintage gentleman’s wardrobe.
This piece is beautifully built! I broke it down into pieces, sanded, cleaned up rough spots, repaired a few spots, stained to match the original tones, cleaned the original hardware, and finished with polyurethane.
I love bringing old pieces back to life 💕

Transformation Tuesday of this beautiful cedar chest!
My client had some of the best example photos and suggestions to color and ideas that would fit her home and style.
Top striped, sanded, stained and sealed darker.
Bottom painted sage green, then whitewashed. Sealed to protect. Finished with new hardware my client had selected.
Excited to see this back in its home💕

Happy Monday friends!!!
… this is a photo of our babies 7 years ago when I opened my shop in town. These 4 are such a part of my journey in creating. I started my business years ago as a way to be creative while our kids were still so tiny, while doing work that I truly enjoyed - in making old things new again & creating out of what I found around me.

I’m so grateful that these kids have seen all aspects of how this business works and helping me behind the scenes.

Looking forward to sharing all that they have helped me with over the summer in the weeks to come❤️

Summer is my FAVORITE time of the year simply because I get to be with my people!
A few weeks from now, they will all be back in school and my schedule will look much different. Leaving room for more time to create💕

This weeks transformation is of this sweet buffet. This girl required a lot of work. Structurally sturdy, yet had lots of spots that needed filled/repaired. At one point someone had added locks that were not true to the piece. I removed those, filled all holes, sanded & sanded. Due to the stains, holes filled & repairs to the top, I chose to paint the entire top white. The legs stained this warm tone for dimension. I personally love the look of distressed furniture because it helps to show natural wear to the piece and feels so honest. So I lightly distressed and finished with furniture wax.
The hardware that was original to this piece was stunning, but it wasn’t all there. So I found some that was similar to finish her.

This weeks transformation!
This vintage piece has some of the most amazing lines. Slight damage to the top was present and a few scuffs that needed repaired.
She was refinished with Country Chic Rocky Mountain as the color of choice and finished with Clear Coat.
I added new hardware to match the patina of the castors that were all in excellent condition.
Excited to get her back to her owner❤️
