For now, let’s meet the Owner and Principal Designer of Design Theory 19!
Mindy’s Style:
Classic. Clean. Heritage‑Transitional. My style blends timeless structure with a fresh, modern edge, the kind of look that feels rooted, refined, and effortlessly current all at once.
I love pairing clean lines with warm, storied details, creating spaces that feel both elevated and deeply lived‑in. It’s that sweet spot where tradition meets modern clarity, and every room gets its own quiet, confident glow.
Favorite Design Trend in 2026:
Moody + Dramatic Natural Stone. Love warm, natural tones are coming back and I’m treating every project like it deserves its own dramatic‑stone storyline.
Inspiration to be an Interior designer:
My inspiration for being an interior designer comes from the way spaces shape how people live, connect, and feel. I love taking a home that’s “almost there” and turning it into a place that finally feels like them. Getting to know the families behind each project, their routines, their chaos, their celebrations, their quiet moments, is what drives every design decision. Transforming a space is fun, but transforming how a family experiences their home is what keeps me inspired
Fun Fact:
I’m a triplet and a former Army Reservist, which means I’ve been trained in both sibling diplomacy and real‑world discipline. A dangerous combo in the best way.
