As 2022 comes to a close so does Flowers by Faye. After 28 years in the business it's time for me to "Step back and smell the roses."

I would like to thank all the brides and their family's that I have had the honor of working with over the years and doing their wedding flowers. Also, all the wonderful vendors and venues that I have worked with. There are so many talented people in the wedding industry. To say the least, my family and most importantly my husband who has been my right hand man. Without him I wouldn't have succeeded. Thank you for giving up your weekends to help service and deliver. Also, a thank you to my sales reps, Jodi in fresh and Jenny in supplies. Without the flowers and materials to put things together and your advice from time to time it wouldn't have been possible.

I will say it was always a wonderful feeling arriving at the church on the day of a wedding and showing the bride their bouquet, and hearing them say "It's just what I wanted" and "Thank you" with a smile on their face. That's the reward after all of the hard work to bring their vision to reality.

Being a floral designer and working with such beautiful flowers and being creative was a dream job. I couldn't have thought of anything else that would have made me feel so good. Seeing the end product and saying, "Wow!" "I did that!"

Enjoy the beauty around you and take the time to "Smell the flowers". It's been a good run! Now onto the next chapter and new adventures.
