If you love a warm, sophisticated exterior but don’t want your home to feel too beige, too gray, or too dark, this palette was designed for you.

I created this Warm Greige + Deep Taupe Sherwin-Williams exterior paint palette to take the guesswork out of coordinating siding, trim, garage doors, shutters, front doors, and architectural accents. The colors work together to create an exterior that feels warm, grounded, timeless, and intentionally designed.

As a Charlotte interior designer and paint color consultant, I also offer in-person paint color consultations throughout the Charlotte area, including Waxhaw, Weddington, Marvin, Ballantyne, SouthPark, and surrounding communities.

Whether you need a ready-to-use exterior palette or personalized help choosing colors specifically for your home, I can help.

Comment PLAYROOM and I’ll send you the links to the pieces in this room.

If you’re searching for playroom ideas, playroom storage, playroom seating, kids room organization, family room furniture, cozy playroom ideas, or functional home decor, these are some of my favorite finds for creating a space that works for both kids and parents.

Most playrooms have plenty of toys—but they’re often missing two things that make the space work for the whole family: comfortable seating and functional storage.

When I designed our playroom, I didn’t want to create a room that only worked for the kids. Parents spend a lot of time in these spaces too, so adding a comfortable sofa created a place where I could sit, relax, read, or simply be in the room while the kids played.

Then comes storage. When toys, games, books, and art supplies have designated places to go, the playroom can actually function without constantly feeling cluttered.

As a Charlotte interior designer, this is something I think about in every family space: How does the room look, but also—how does the family actually live in it?

If you’re searching for playroom ideas, playroom storage ideas, playroom seating, family-friendly interior design, kids room organization, or a Charlotte interior designer, remember: design the room for everyone who uses it.

Comment “water” for the system I recommend I’ve been looking for an easy way to upgrade our kitchen and improve the quality of our drinking water, and this reverse osmosis system has been a game changer.

The Waterdrop G3P600 Reverse Osmosis System fits neatly under the sink, has a sleek smart faucet, and gives us clean, filtered water without bulky countertop pitchers or constant plastic bottle waste.

If you’re researching the best reverse osmosis system, under sink water filter, tankless RO system, or ways to improve your home’s water quality, this one is worth considering.

Search terms people are using:
• Reverse osmosis water filter review
• Best under sink water filtration system
• Tankless reverse osmosis system
• Waterdrop G3P600 review
• Clean drinking water at home
• NSF certified water filter
• Kitchen water upgrade

Having filtered water on demand has made staying hydrated easier and simplified our daily routine.

The chandelier is finally here, and honestly… this entire room design started with this one piece.

I’ve always believed that a cozy, elevated home doesn’t come from copying trends — it comes from creating a feeling. The second I saw this chandelier, I pictured a moodier sitting room with layered textures, warm tones, soft lighting, and spaces that feel lived in and inviting.

This account is where I share all of it:
• cozy home inspiration
• affordable home finds
• room transformations
• styling ideas
• design decisions behind the scenes
• creating a beautiful home on a real-life budget

I’m an interior designer, mom, and home creator sharing the process of turning a house into a home one room at a time.

Comment “shop” for links Being a homeowner means realizing there are random little maintenance tasks nobody talks about… like cleaning your dryer vent.

But honestly, this is one of those things that can make a big difference in how efficiently your dryer works and help reduce buildup over time.

One of those surprisingly satisfying home tools to have on hand.

Comment “shop” for a link A lot of people think a room starts with furniture.

For me, it usually starts with one piece that creates the feeling of the entire space.

This chandelier was that piece.

The second I saw it, I pictured a moody sitting room with warmer tones, layered textures, soft lighting, and a space that feels cozy, elevated, and lived in—not overly perfect.

That’s how I usually design spaces: one inspiring piece at a time.

Sometimes an entire room starts with just one piece.

In this case, it was the chandelier.

The moment I saw it, I knew I wanted to create a moodier, warmer sitting room around it with layered textures, deeper tones, soft lighting, and pieces that feel collected instead of overly styled.

This is usually how my design process works—I find one inspiring element and build the whole feeling of the room from there.

I didn’t expect this to work… but it did.

A simple way to lift greasy spots using things you probably already have at home—and it’s one of those little tricks that just makes life easier.

I didn’t expect moving to the South to influence my style this much… but it did.

Over time, I started gravitating toward warmer colors, more traditional details, and spaces that feel layered and lived-in.

And now, this is the feeling I naturally create in the homes I design.

A lot of homes I see in the Charlotte area are beautiful, but they feel unfinished — and usually it’s not a big change that’s needed, just the right direction.

If you’re a Charlotte homeowner and your space feels off, I’d love to help you create a plan that brings everything together.
