When you’re having a VERY Monday Monday…

☕ Spilled coffee on my phone - thankfully, my new IBN phone case saved it! 🙌
🏦 Went to the bank for work deposits and a question… they didn’t have the answer, so I get to go back.
👛 Forgot my wallet at the office and didn’t realize it until I was standing in the checkout line. 🤦‍♀️
🚪 Stopped by one store - closed. (It usually isn’t.)
🚶‍♀️ Stopped by another - the person I needed wasn’t there. (They usually are.)
At this point, I was like, “REALLY?! Maybe I should just go back to the office.” 😂

But instead, I stopped into Mule Barn Mercantile… and ended up in exactly the right place at exactly the right time.

While I was talking with them, another customer overheard me talking about my work and said she loved it. Then she started asking about ordering an assortment of my notecards!

First - what a great idea! 💌 I’ll definitely be adding assortments soon!

And second - hearing that kind of feedback in person honestly made my day. ❤️ When this is your little side hustle, those moments mean A LOT.

My Monday lesson: Keeping rolling with the chaos per usual. 😂 You never know what might come from the detour. It can always be worse (I wasn’t having an emergency root canal like my husband today!)

Sometimes the detour really is the point. 🌿

🍂 A little FALL REFRESH! 🍂

I’ve been giving my little space at Mule Barn Mercantile a refresh, and I’ve also been adding some beautiful new products to my website - with more being added often! ✨

This song "The Nature of Memories" makes me smile because it feels so fitting of my "Inspired By Nature". Every photograph I take and turn into art represents a memory I’ve made along the way - a beautiful place, a sunset, a season, or something in nature that caught my eye (which is ALOT!) 💛

There’s lots more to come, so stay tuned! In the meantime, check out what I have going and please keep me in mind for the holiday season. 🎁

Week = Made 🥳

I stopped by Mule Barn Mercantile today to check on my puzzle inventory, and honestly ended up leaving with the best kind of surprise.

A couple came in asking about the Mule Barn and Waxhaw, and I was happy to chat with them about both. I love when people are discovering the area and want to learn more about it.

They noticed my puzzles, said they loved them, and decided to buy the Mule Barn one to remember where they met me… and then asked me to SIGN it.

I’ve never signed a puzzle box before!

Such a small moment, but it really meant a lot. ❤️

Huge thank you to that sweet couple - you made my day more than you know.

What a difference a year makes! 🎉

I started this little fun side hustle with a “Why Not” mentality. Walked into the Mule Barn Mercantile with a few pictures and a ton of ideas. Skip to a year later, I’ve learned so much and continue to evolve. I still have a ton of ideas, but love the direction it’s going!
