One thing I love about living in a smaller community is that people still notice when someone needs a little encouragement.

A neighbor checks in.
A friend brings dinner.
Someone remembers your birthday.

It’s not always a big production.

Sometimes it’s just people taking care of people.

The teacher who went above and beyond.

The friend who has been having a hard month.

Flowers don’t have to mean romance.
