Although we are not in the floral business anymore, I strongly encourage you all to NOT use online services like 1800Flowers/Proflowers or FTD for any of your floral needs. These services do not help florists and generally make florists lose money.

Please shop local! Your local florist has wire services that they can use to send flowers anywhere in the US! If you truly believe that a florist can send out roses for $19.99/dozen and make money on it, you are sadly mistaken! Costs for flowers nearly triple to florists weeks before Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Sending out roses well below their cost will not help them survive!

If you need online support to find a florist there is only one place I recommend www.flowershopnetwork.com. They only deal with florists directly and don't charge exorbitant fees to those florists. We used them exclusively at Wayland Floral and I know they won't screw over your local florist! You can also use the Michigan Floral Association's website to find a Michigan florist near you!

Flower Shop Network is your source for real local florists to send flowers for delivery anywhere in the US and Canada.

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce that Wayland Floral & Gifts is for sale. We have thoroughly enjoyed serving the Wayland community and we cannot thank you enough for all of the support you have given us! From the bottom of our hearts, we thank each and every one of you!!!

This journey for us has been amazing! We have learned what it takes to build a thriving business in the heart of downtown Wayland and we feel there is no better place to do so! We have learned just how amazing this community is! We have also learned that Family must come first, which is why we have chosen to seek new owners. Cindy has found that her true calling is being the best Mom she can be to our daughters. The business has taken quite a bit of time away from that and is the biggest reason for our decision. Wayland Floral has actually been growing since our inception and continues that growth today, however, we have come to realize that money is not our goal. Our girls will only be young once and we want to enjoy the time we have with them.

We hope everyone can understand our decision. I can guarantee it has not been an easy one and many tears have been shed over it. We thank you for your understanding and continued support! Our goal is to find and train a new owner as soon as possible. If we find there is no interest, our last day will be December 31, 2015. Thank you again for all you have done for us! This community and our customers are truly AMAZING!!!!
