Hello friends, colleagues and clients, šš»
You may have noticed that our āengagementā has been down and we seem a bit MIA.
Weāre still here, still creating, planning and working weāve just made the decision not to be held down by social media anymore.
Very recently Jason and I lost someone very close to us, it was devastating for our family and their friends.
One of my last conversations with them was about how stressful & anxiety inducing it is to constantly be trying to keep up, stay relevant, be loud but also quiet enough to protect our home and business, be present but also online.
Itās exhausting.
And just as nonchalant as one could they said āWell, you donāt HAVE to do itā āJust donātā.
So here we are. Not doing it.
Life is fleeting, we exist once (unless youāre into reincarnation and in that case please bring me back as a chihuahua w/ 2 dads in Palm Springs) and as much as we love our jobs and you, we love our family and living more.
Itās only been a short time w/ our online detox but so far I love not knowing or caring where my phone is. I love having my coffee w/ the dogs and listening to the birds instead of doom scrolling through the angry rhetoric.
Weāre here, weāre not going anywhere, weāre just choosing living over popularity.
Weāll check in, post in stories and share the fun when we think itās something youāll enjoy but weāre not just going to keep posting to keep us in the algorithm.
Be kind to yourself and others, donāt waste time on a**holes and unplug for awhile! š¤
Love you, mean it.
