I got a vendor spot at SAFF (Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair) in Fletcher, NC !!!

This is the largest fiber arts/animals event of it's kind in NC! I will be in the Expo building with the other cool kids and am sooooo excited!!

Besides alllll the good stuff (hand-dyed top, hand-dyed yarns, Jacquard and KraftKolour Landscape dyes, mill dyed merino/BFL top, undyed fiber, recycled sari silk ribbon, Ashford stuff, Kromski stuff, needle felting supplies, books, etc).....I will have some BEAUTIFUL wooler angora rabbits at my booth! I will try to post some pictures of them as soon as I can, but please come find me in the Expo building Friday October 23-Sunday October 25!

Also, keep your eyes out for a post regarding my huge pre-order sale on Ashford and Kromski wheels, looms and carders!

I took this workshop a few years ago and it totally rocked! Hankies aren’t cocoons, but they come from them.. The listing is in the ‘knitting’ section. Registration opens July 2 for members; a few weeks later for non-members. – AM Walter

I need help deciding! Which type of wool batt (for felting, mostly, but totally spinnable, too!) do you prefer? Both are about the same micron, but one is much more rustic and the other is much more "homogenized" in color. Both are a single wool.

This is hard to write, but here it is; Due to chronic flooding issues, Folklore Fiber Arts is going to have to relocate. I have put a lot of my heart into this little shop, and I hate taking it away from town, but I have no choice. This last bout of rain cost me several spinning wheels, looms and shelving. I thought these issues had been addressed and repaired, but they have not. So....for the next month or two, our store front location has to close. I will post a new location address as SOON as I can! It will take a month or so.

In the meantime, please continue to support us through our website, or just message me on FB or text me with your needs and I will get them to you! The phone number will stay the same, 828-342-1574, you can call or text me. The website will stay up and running and I'll use this time to keep it updated with the latest stock I have available.

My shop is still unable to open for business. I can’t even start cleaning up until after the insurance adjusters have come.

So as much as I hate it, Folklore Fiber Arts brick and mortar location will be closed this week. We’re always open online! folklorefiberarts.com

My shop flooded last night. My landlord said someone cut the electric line to the sump pump outback. It flooded from the back all the way out the front.

I am here, but everything is a mess and I’m working on cleaning up.
