Come join us for our store Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening!

The Haywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the official ribbon cutting for Fire on the Mountain Candle Company, a Waynesville‑based maker of clean‑burning wood‑wick candles and home fragrance products.

Fire on the Mountain Candle Company hand pours every candle and hand mixes every fragrance right here in Waynesville, using a sustainable Hemp–Coconut–Soy wax blend, FSC‑certified wood wicks, USA‑made vessels, and recycled‑plastic clamshells. All products are phthalate‑free, carcinogen‑free, mutagen‑free, toxin‑free, vegan, and made only with fragrances that contain no acute, reproductive, or organ toxins.

Founded by a former Wildland Firefighter, the company is dedicated to raising awareness for the Wildland Fire community while creating safe, sustainable, and beautifully scented products. A portion of all profits is donated to organizations supporting Wildland Firefighters.

Join us as we celebrate this mission‑driven local business and welcome Fire on the Mountain Candle Company into the Haywood Chamber community.
