Enjoy the spirit of nature illuminated in your home with a custom crafted lamp from Luminosa Lighting. I choose to work with natural materials to create my line of table, floor and wall lighting because those elements truly inspire me. In order to diversify my design collections I source lush color and fibrous handmade papers from around the world as well as selected fabrics. Inspired by brilliant

autumn foliage in Western North Carolina, I collect and create original surface patterns for my printed collection of shade designs. In this way the vivid colors are captured and printed onto a material made to be illuminated. My goal is to create contemporary lighting that honors the natural world, translating that spirit and warmth into a poetic expression of light and form.

HANDCRAFTED CUSTOM LAMP DESIGNS BY LEAH BAKER

Home is your haven. Your space to curl up and feel cozy. Lighting is an integral part of creating that effect and can cast the spell of soft warmth or break it. Luminosa lamps glow with handmade natural warmth in the most sublime way possible. Designing a lamp is equal to creating a work of art to me, it just happens to be functional art. Which means they are double the pleasure! Our custom craft lamps serve to illuminate and deliver a striking visual statement. Crafting lamps allows me to combine my love of working with handmade paper, natural fibers, and elemental materials such as stone, clay, wood, twigs, and metal all of which bring a harmonious energy into the studio and then into each handmade lamp design.

Contemporary. Rustic. Elegant. Whimsical. These are a few of the adjectives used to describe the personality of Luminosa's handmade lamps. They have presence. It's amazing what the right lighting can do to change the entire feeling in a room.
