There’s a reason alpaca fleece has been treasured for centuries.
Inside most Foreverbed mattresses, alpaca fleece creates a naturally luxurious layer that does far more than simply feel good. Its hollow-core fibers are exceptionally breathable, helping move heat and moisture away from the body while providing lightweight insulation, which is warm when you need it, breathable when you don’t.
And if “animal fiber inside my mattress” gives you pause, here’s the important part: the alpaca fleece used in bedding is cleaned, processed and prepared as a textile fiber, not raw fleece straight from the farm. Alpaca fiber is naturally low in lanolin compared with sheep’s wool, resistant to odor and less hospitable to the moisture-loving environment that bacteria and dust mites prefer.
It’s also remarkably soft, resilient and durable, without relying on another layer of synthetic foam to accomplish the job.
Naturally breathable. Naturally temperature regulating. Naturally luxurious.
Because sometimes the most advanced materials aren’t invented.
They’re grown.
