WOW!

Today is the day! Louis C. Tiffany’s Shade Garden is now open at Montefiore Medical Center’s Hutchinson campus in the Bronx, NY. This collaboration with marks the inauguration of our exciting new exhibition program to bring the bright blooms and warm glow of Tiffany’s lamps to hospitals and healthcare facilities! Studies show that artworks in these settings provide many therapeutic benefits and enhance patient recovery. We hope that this beautiful selection of floral lamps brings tranquility to the thousands of patients that Montefiore serves every day. Now on view in the lobby of Tower II 🌸🌸🌸

By 1944, over 2 million troops from over 12 countries were in Britain in preparation for the invasion.

On D-Day, Allied forces consisted primarily of American, British and Canadian troops but also included Australian, Belgian, Czech, Dutch, French, Greek, New Zealand, Norwegian, Rhodesian and Polish naval, air or ground support.
