We had to have a piece of cool marble for our studio bathroom. Turns out “a piece“ meant a floating, mitered sink in Calacatta Vagli Rosatto. Swiped to see what it replaced. 👉

Same window. Different century.

This 1925 bath was named a Platinum Winner in St. Louis Homes &Lifestyles’ Bath of the Year.

Swipe for the before.

Everybody sees the after. Nobody sees the two hours on the floor with a box cutter. 😂

This job is grit and glamour in equal parts— tough client conversation, damaged furniture, and yes, sometimes a good cry after getting yelled by a subcontractor. But also… texts that make you want to frame them, seeing your work in print, and watching a house finally become a home.

The daily pressures of life are hard enough. I love that our job is to make your home the place you get to come back to when the world outside is a lot.

Designers have known this forever… Blue reads as calm, grounded, and timeless across almost every style and scale. The key is saturation and undertone. Get those right and blue disappears into the room the way a good neutral should. Which slide surprised you most?

Pink tile to black marble. Here’s what actually made this bathroom a standout.

When the client said they wanted drama, we didn’t try to talk them out out of it. We leaned in… floor to ceiling black Maraquina marble in the shower, and Carrara surround on the bathroom walls and floor were the winning combination.

The before is slide 1. Swipe to see how far it came. ➡️👀

Don’t overlook the opportunity to style your nightstand. It’s the easiest fix to a drab room.

Height variation. Fresh Flowers. One piece with personality. A contrasting material. Something vintage.

5 small details. 🛌 Save this for your next bedroom refresh.

Sitting outside, wishing things were different? That feeling is brief.

More shade. A fire for fall nights. A pool that actually becomes a gathering spot. These projects don’t happen overnight so if next summer is the goal now is the time to talk. ☀️

Same house, but you wouldn’t know it.

And who doesn’t love a good before and after.

The hardest part of a project like this is the design… it’s trusting the process when your home is under construction for months and months. This family did, and this is where they landed.

I push color on almost every project. Not because it’s trendy, but because it’s the thing that makes the space feel like it actually belongs to the person living in it. Six projects, six completely different palettes… all intentional, all client approved, all beloved. Which one would you live in?
