Update: thank you all for voting! The wood-stained island won by a comfortable margin.
One interesting pattern I noticed: those who lean toward a more contemporary aesthetic tended to prefer Option A, while those who appreciate transitional and traditional design were more likely to choose Option B with the wood island. There is no wrong answer!
