This Saturday the shop WILL be open! But as it is the labor day weekend, it will be "Divide and Conquer" as Mark will be doing his "Farmer re-enacting" at the Thresheree in Janesville, WI with his Awesome antique Case steam engine! The weather looks to be better on the weekend, so stop out and see him and say "Toot-Toot"!!

The Military Collectibles Shop was fortunate to acquire a stellar medal grouping, to a true hero of two wars and two different services! Serving with the U.S. Navy in WWII, and receiving the Naval Bronze Star Medal for his actions as part of Underwater Demolition Team (UDT) #5 in the invasions of Saipan and Tinian. He then went on to join the Army during the Korean war, where he was wounded twice, receiving the Purple Heart with oak leaf cluster, and was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his heroism in action there. Tangible reminders of heroism, selfless service, and the true cost of freedom.

HAPPY NATIONAL KNIFE DAY! We get all kinds of knives in the Military Collectibles Shop; from the famous WWI "1917 & 1918 Trench knives" to the WWII "KaBar's" (MKII's) and "M3's" as well as some of harder to find like Randall's, Everitts, and USMC Raider Stilettos. But the only ones Jerry collects are the WWII Vocational School ones that were made right here in Wisconsin! And he is always looking for more! Stop by and see his collection on display at the shop!
