As we continue the transformation of our new Operations Office, we’re taking a closer look at where the process begins: Design.

Our Design Services team of experienced, licensed Wisconsin Registered Interior Design professionals creates functional, thoughtful solutions using evidence-based, intuitive and inclusive design.

But designing a workplace goes beyond the floor plan.

Through Client Engagement Services, we work with organizations to identify opportunities, understand their goals and explore how their workplace can better support their people and business objectives.

And when a new space means a new way of working, our Change Engagement Services help teams navigate that transition through a proven process of defining, discovering, developing and implementing change.

For our Operations Center, that means starting with how our team works, what they need from their space and how we can create an environment that supports them now and into the future.

From understanding the people to developing the plan—thoughtful design sets the foundation for everything that comes next.

As a local woman-owned business, Creative Business Interiors has partnered with Best Ed Business for nearly a decade to extend our outreach to schools, nonprofits, and organizations with furniture needs.

As we prepared for our Milwaukee office move, we saw an opportunity to do more than simply clear out inventory. In our industry, we often come across furniture, samples, and products that may no longer fit our showroom or project needs but still have tremendous value.

Rather than sending quality furnishings to a landfill, we wanted to ensure they could continue serving a purpose. Through our partnership with Best Ed Business, these resources are now helping schools and nonprofit organizations throughout Milwaukee create welcoming, functional spaces for teachers, students, and the community.

We’re proud to see good furniture continue to do good in our community.

Over the next 12 weeks, we’re taking you behind the scenes of the transformation of our new Operations Office—from the first concept and construction to paint, finishes, furniture and installation.

We’re starting with our Operations Office—a dedicated space designed around how our team works today and where we’re headed next. And while our future showroom will be its own exciting project, for now, we’re taking you inside this transformation first.

Our Design team brings together experienced, licensed Wisconsin Registered Interior Design professionals to create thoughtful, functional workplaces grounded in the way people actually work.

Our Interior General Contractor team then brings that vision to life, self-performing the majority of interior construction, including demolition, carpentry, steel stud, drywall, acoustical, painting and wallcovering—while strategically partnering with specialty trades when needed.

Design + Build, working together under one roof. And this is just the beginning.
