Soaking the floral foam.

Once the floral foam is fitted into the Lomey dishes, I place them in a tub of water and let them sink naturally. No pushing them under—the foam needs time to absorb water evenly so every stem stays hydrated.

I already know some of you have very strong feelings about it, but I have to admit: in the right design, I still love the soft, cloud-like effect. Are you team baby’s breath or absolutely not?

An arrangement doesn't need a long flower recipe to make an impact.

This entire design is made with one flower variety: gladiolus. Their tall shape creates drama and movement, while all of those blooms along each stem provide plenty of color and texture.

Sometimes repeating one beautiful flower makes the strongest statement. Would you choose a single-variety arrangement or six?

Would you have guessed 14 lbs?! 😳

Floristry looks like pretty flowers, delicate details, and beautiful finished arrangements… but behind the scenes, there’s a whole lot of lifting, hauling, loading, unloading, buckets of water, mechanics, and carrying arrangements that are way heavier than they look. 😂💪

This one came in at 14 pounds.

Pretty? Absolutely.
Lightweight? Absolutely not. 😂

Small arrangement. Strategic placement. Big impact. 🌿

Bar flowers don’t have to be huge to transform a space. The bar is one of those places nearly every guest will visit throughout the evening, which makes it the perfect spot for a little floral moment.

For this arrangement, we kept the flower selection intentional and let that trailing green amaranth do the work. The movement, texture, and placement give a relatively small arrangement a much bigger presence.

When planning wedding flowers, it isn’t always about adding more flowers—it’s about putting them where they’ll make the most impact.
